Jacob W. Wetle Obituary 1869-1947

JACOB W. WETLE
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the chapel of McGinnis & Wilhelm for Jacob W. Wetle, 77, who died Tuesday after a prolonged illness. Rev Louis B. Keiter, rector of All Saints Episcopal church, will officiate and there will be vault entombment at Riverview Abby mausoleum.

Mr Wetle, for many years a wool grader and foremen for Bissinger & Co. of Sellwood and Troutdale, was born in St. Cloud, Minn., July 28, 1869, and had lived in Portland since he was 2 years old. He retired from business in 1939.

He is survived by the widow, Rosetta; three sons, Roy, Harry, and Everett Wetle, all of Portland; a brother, James of Portland; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Williams, Portland, and Mrs. Catherine Meyers of Oakhurst, Cal., and ten grandchildren.
