Walter Washington Wetle Obituary 1895-1970

WALTER WETLE
A lifetime Oregonian, Walter Washington Wetle of Lake Oswego died Sunday in a local hospital. He was 75.

He was born in Portland on March 12, 1895.

Prior to retirement, Mr. Wetle was an insulation contractor with Columbia Asbestos Co., for 20 years.

He was a member of Waverley Lodge No 174 AF&AM, Al Kader Shrine, Downtown Lions Club, Port Engineers and Asbestos Workers Union, Local 36.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, and three sisters; Mrs. Mabel Loser, Garibaldi; Mrs. Lenore Kirby, Hebo; and Mrs. Esther Dallenbach, Waldport.

Funeral at J.P. Finley & Son will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Private commitment will be at Skyline Memorial Gardens.

Obituary: Walter Wetle, 75, Dies
Funeral services for Walter W. Wetle, 75, Lake Oswego, a retired insulation contractor formerly with Columbia Asbestos Co., will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at FInley Mortuary. He died in a Portland hospital Sunday.

Mr. Wetle was born in Portland. He was a Mason and also a member of the Downtown Lions Club and Asbostos Workers Local 36.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, and sisters, Mrs. Mabel Loser of Garibaldi, Mrs. Lenore Kirby of Hebo, and Mrs Esther Dallenbach of Waldport.

Committal will be private.

Friends may contribute to the Lions Sight Foundation of the Cancer Research Fund.
